PETAL are 100% committed to the environment in relation to timber products they supply to the industry. Being members of the Timber Trade Federation ( TTF ) Responsible Purchasing Policy ( RRP ) ensures they strictly adhere to supply chain due diligence requirements in each country they purchase from.
Alongside this they adhere to the European Union Timber Regulations ( EUTR ) 2013 ensuring strict due diligence is carried out on all suppliers prior to placing any contracts.
Their customers can buy in comfort knowing all purchases are from legal sources with documentation to support this claim.
PETAL are certified by FSC® & PEFC chain of custody certification bodies as well as purchasing FLEGT certified products from Indonesia and using other third party verification bodies where necessary to ensure legality of goods / documentation.
